The ex-Hardwick Manor coach on the disused traverser - the coach was from the private Harwick Manor Railway, nr Tewkesbury. The Hardwick Manor equipment was dispersed after the death of owner Douglas Clayton in 1947. Fairbourne purchased the coach direct from the dispersal sale. Douglas Clayton was an acquaintenace of then Fairbourne owner John Wilkins, they were neighbours in business - Clayton own Canon (cookers, gas fires etc) & Wilkins owned Servis (washing machines, white goods) both works located in the Black Country
